Police are warning parents about a child predator trying to pick up teenage girls in Highland.

Investigators have now connected at least 5 incidents going back to June 3 in the last two days.

The most recent victim was a 15-year-old girl around 4:30 Tuesday afternoon. The suspect asked the victim to get in and the victim took off running.

Police have notified all the residents and schools in town to be on the lookout.

Police say the same suspect has tried this 5 time since June, on Zschokke Street, along Washington twice, on Lindenthal, and on Pestalozzi. 

In most cases, the suspect makes sexual comments and fondles himself.

Police say an incident in nearby Alhambra in October may also be connected.

The suspect is described as a white man, 30-40 years old, brown goatee, wearing a dark ball cap, which may have the word “eagles” on it. 

The truck is a dark green, late 90’s model, with a child car seat with pink trim sitting in the front.

*This is so scary, being a 17 year old girl. I’m also a runner, me a a few other girls went on a distance run for track practice today. I’ve run on those streets countless times. It’s really scary, you see these kinds of things on the news, but to have it happening in you own town is surreal.
