I actually cried when they showed Casey with his leg braces. As much as I ship Rizzles and wish they would happen I know it won’t. Jane is straight, and as straight Jane I ship her with Casey, they are so cute together. I love their chemistry (Dean is just fucking annoying and no one on earth would believe he and Jane were a couple cause their chemistry sucks.)

I was pissed at the way Casey was treating Jane all episode, especially after she confessed her love for him. But after they showed his leg braces, I understood. He didn’t have to be such an ass, but I understand why he was pushing her away, and why he didn’t want her to know.

He didn’t want Jane’s pitty, he didn’t want her to look at him differently, he didn’t want her to think he’s weak. And in that respect I think he’s a lot like Jane, they both care a lot about how the people they love perceive them. They don’t want to loose that strong brave image, and they are afraid to truly show how they feel.

I think Jane and Casey are a beautiful couple. And while Rizzles is my all time OTP, I would be just as happy seeing Jane end up with Casey. They make me happy. :)

Things I Can’t Stand When Reading Rizzoli & Isles Fanfiction

When anyoneotherthan Angela call Jane “Janie”
When the reason Jane/Maura doesn’t want to confess their feelings is because they are worried about killing their friendship. In my opinion I feel their relationship is strong enough that it wouldn’t matter if one person felt more than the other, I don’t think they would let that phase their friendship at all.
When Jane calls Maura “M”
When Agent Dean is in any shape or form mentioned (sorry I just really don’t like him, he bugs me)
When any of the main characters die (unless it’s a really well written story, which 99% of the time it’s not)
This one doesn’t bug me too much, it’s merely a matter of preference, but in the Rizzles fics I tend to enjoy the stories where the scene where they confess their love for one another isn’t a big deal, you know no dramatics. I just feel like with the friendship and chemistry they have it would be a natural progression of their relationship.
